Happy Chinese New Year!

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kinda late for this one, but yeah...HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I know SOME facts on Chinese New Year now! After I did some extra credit work for history about it:

• This year's animal of 2012 is the Black Water Dragon
• There are about 12 different types of dragons
• When you get money for good luck, give them in red envelopes/boxes for good luck
• When you get money for good luck, it's best if you get them in an odd number because an odd number will be good luck whilst an even number of money is bad luck
• When it is your animal year that year, it is bad luck not good luck
• An animal has different personalities, like people!
• You get picked an animal depending on what year you were born
• Chinese New Year lasts for 15 days
• Chinese New Year ends on the day the full moon rises
• The cat and the bunny are the same thing
• You call the cat a bunny for Chinese people
• You call the bunny a cat for Vietnamese people
• Chinese New Year is celebrated for good luck
• Chinese New Year is celebrated for wishing people good luck and fortune, and some other good stuff that is important to the person you're saying it to
• Chinese New Year is the longest holiday to Asians
• Chinese New Year is a holiday
• Chinese New Year is an important holiday
• Chinese New Year can be celebrated at a temple
• Chinese New Year can be celebrated with a Dragon Dance/firecrackers/both!
• Chinese New Year is not on the day the New Year's is
• Chinese New Year happens a little later than New Year's
• Chinese New Year happens 15 days before the full moon 

Okay then, I guess it isn't some facts, it's a lot of facts! I never knew I knew so much about Chinese New Year! xD It's my favorite holiday...it's an opinion...not a fact... :)
